What Happens After You Pass

Passing the CSE gives you a lifetime civil service eligibility — you don't need to retake it once you've passed at a given level. Here's what that eligibility actually unlocks:

• • You become qualified to apply for government positions requiring that eligibility level — passing doesn't guarantee a job, it qualifies you to compete for one
• • Your eligibility applies nationwide, not just to one office or region
• • Once results are released, you can generate your official result through the CSC's Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS)
• • Keep your Certificate of Eligibility (issued by CSC) safe — you'll need to present it when applying for actual plantilla (permanent) government positions
• • Many agencies post openings through their own HR channels or PSB (Personnel Selection Board) processes — start watching job postings at agencies you're interested in once you're eligible
