Understanding Your CSE Rating
After the exam, your results come back as a rating (not just "pass/fail") — a passing rating is 80.00 or higher.
We want to be upfront here: the CSC doesn't publish the exact per-subtest weighting or scoring formula behind that final rating — so treat any specific breakdown you see online (including elsewhere on our own site) as a well-informed estimate, not an official figure. What we can tell you with confidence: consistency across all subjects tends to matter more than being excellent in one and weak in another, since a very low score in one area can drag your overall rating down even if you did well elsewhere.
